Neem (Melia azadirachta) is a tree originating from India, where it has a long history of use and is also an important part of Ayurvedic tradition. It is particularly popular for its seeds, from which oil is extracted.

Organic Neem oil from the FutuNatura brand is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the neem tree. Cold pressing allows all the valuable properties of the oil, its color, and its scent to be preserved.

Neem is suitable for care:

• skin, as it keeps it healthy and improves its structure, also recommended for the care of acne-prone skin,
• hair and scalp, as it has a beneficial effect on the structure of the hair and strengthens it,
• gums, as it strengthens and protects them.

This versatile oil is essential for preparing homemade cosmetics.

Special features of neem seed oil:

• it is a versatile addition to various cosmetic products and a valuable ingredient for homemade cosmetics,
• it can also be used in households and gardening and for soaps intended for animals,
• at room temperature, it is in liquid form, at lower temperatures (below 21°C) it begins to solidify - when reheated, it becomes liquid again (it can be placed in warm water for a few minutes),
• it has a specific and strong scent of neem seeds.

Recommended use: For making creams, ointments, shampoos, lotions, soaps, and toothpaste.

Additional advice: Just around 1% of neem oil is enough, which means half a teaspoon in a bottle of shampoo or shower gel, or a few drops in a cream. Approximately the same amount of oil is also used for a bath.

• It can be used for gardening or household – just 1 tablespoon of oil in 1 liter of water is enough.
• It also works great in shampoos for domestic animals.
