Astaxanthin, often called the “king of carotenoids”, is a pigment from the group of carotenoids, which also include beta-carotene or lutein. It is a compound that our body is not able to synthesize on its own, so we ensure intake by consuming a varied diet.

In nature, astaxanthin is mainly found in the marine world - it is contained in various algae, plants, fish (salmon, shrimp...).

The capsules Astaxanthin Extra Strong from the FutuNatura brand contain astaxanthin extracted from the algae Haematococcus pluvialis.

Each capsule contains 8 mg of astaxanthin from the algae Haematococcus pluvialis.
