Acerola (Malpighia glabra), known as the Barbados cherry, is an evergreen tree with a lush canopy, originating from subtropical and tropical climates in America and India. It is recognized by its characteristic red fruits, resembling cherries, and is an exceptional natural source of vitamin C.
