Ear wax (cerumen) is a yellowish-brown substance that the body creates on its own. Its purpose is cleaning, care, and protection of the external auditory canal. Normally, the ear canal can clean itself, but often we use various tools to help with cleaning.

Ear candles are intended for removing ear wax from the ear and are an excellent alternative to cotton swabs or ear sprays. This is an alternative method of cleaning ear wax, called ear candling.

Candles for ear hygiene from the FutuNatura brand are a perfect tool for cleaning ear wax. When the candle burns, the wax softens, and the created vacuum allows the natural removal of wax from the ear. The use is safe and quick, as the whole process takes up to 15 minutes.

Features of Ear Hygiene Candles:

• They create a heat effect with slow burning, which softens the ear wax.
• During burning, a vacuum is created, which ensures that the ear wax naturally begins to be expelled from the ear.
• At the bottom of the candle are ear plugs to prevent ash from entering the ear during burning.
• They are made of natural cotton muslin (rarely woven cotton, known as one of the gentlest cotton fabrics) and 100% pure beeswax (without chemicals).
• The candle has a line indicating the burning limit (when the candle burns to this line, it needs to be removed from the ear and extinguished).
• The package includes 5 paper rings to ensure that any hot particles from the candle (wax) do not reach the face.

Recommended use: Always perform the treatment on both ears. Use one candle for each ear. Burning time of two candles (1 treatment): 12-15 minutes.

Instructions for use:

• First, put the provided protective ring on the candle, with the aluminum side facing upwards. Push the ring to the line that marks how far the candle can burn.
• Gently massage the ear to relax it.
• Place your head on a flat surface so that the ear is in a horizontal position. Protect the surface with a towel beforehand.
• Light the top of the candle with a match or lighter.
• Gently insert the bottom of the candle with the plug into the ear. Hold the candle in a vertical position, without moving, until it burns to the marked line. If smoke starts coming out of the ear, the candle is not placed correctly.
• Once the candle burns to the marked line, remove it from the ear and extinguish it in a glass of water.
• Clean the ear with the provided cotton swab.
• Repeat the process with a new candle on the other ear.

• 10 candles (sizes 20-24 cm) made of 100% pure beeswax and cotton muslin,
• 5 protective paper rings with an aluminum side (diameter 8 cm),
• 10 cotton swabs.
