Black cumin (Nigella sativa) is an annual plant or small shrub, characterized by pale blue or white flowers. It originates from India, where it is a popular part of the Ayurvedic tradition. It was also used as a spice in ancient Egypt thousands of years ago.

Archaeological evidence even suggests that black cumin was first cultivated in ancient Egypt, and black cumin oil was used, especially for cosmetic purposes, by Egyptian queens Nefertiti and Cleopatra.

Organic Black Cumin Oil from the FutuNatura brand is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of black cumin from Egypt, in accordance with strict controlled organic farming practices. It has a characteristic yellowish color and oily texture.

Thanks to gentle cold pressing, all the valuable ingredients contained in the oil are preserved. This method of production also ensures a distinctive aroma and taste.

Organic Black Cumin Oil can be consumed on its own, and it is also excellent for enhancing cold dishes, such as dressing salads and sauces. It is recognized not only for its taste but also for its high content of linoleic acid.

Linoleic acid (LA) belongs to the polyunsaturated Omega-6 fatty acids and contributes to maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 10 g of LA.

Recommended use: 1-2 teaspoons per day. You can consume it on its own or use it in salads or other cold dishes.
