    We all know how important good sleep is for our well-being! Melatonin tablets can naturally and effectively help you. In addition to melatonin, they also contain L-tryptophan and vitamin B6.

     

    Melatonin is a natural hormone that regulates mental and physiological activities in sync with the body's daily biorhythm. The level of melatonin in the blood normally rises every night and affects the body's daily rhythm (circadian rhythm).

    Our body naturally produces melatonin with the help of the pituitary gland, specifically from the amino acid L-tryptophan. The production of melatonin in the body decreases with age.

    L-tryptophan is an essential amino acid that must be consumed through food or dietary supplements, as our body cannot produce it on its own.

     

    Melatonin contributes to the reduction of time taken to fall asleep*.

     

    *The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming 1 mg of melatonin close to bedtime.

     

    The reason for prolonged waiting for sleep can also be working night shifts or traveling by plane across different time zones (jet lag).

     

    Melatonin contributes to the alleviation of subjective feelings of jet lag**.

     

    **The beneficial effect is obtained with a minimum intake of 0,5 mg to be taken close to bedtime on the first day of travel and on the following few days after arrival at the destination.


    Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

    Warning: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children. Use only before bedtime. This product is intended for healthy adults only. Not suitable for children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding mothers. Driving and operating machinery are not recommended within five hours after taking. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, at a temperature up to 25°C.

    DETAILED WARNINGS, INTENDED TO INFORM CONSUMERS

    Dietary supplements containing melatonin should be taken in accordance with the natural circadian (day-night) rhythm of endogenous melatonin, which means after dark, as close as possible to the usual bedtime. As there is insufficient data on long-term safety, it is recommended that melatonin be taken only occasionally.

    People who feel drowsy and tired the next day after taking melatonin should not drive or perform tasks that require attention and where drowsiness could pose a safety risk.

    Melatonin use is not recommended for individuals with inflammatory or autoimmune conditions, epilepsy, asthma, mood disorders, behavioural or personality disorders, or for those taking any form of medication – unless advised otherwise by a medical professional. Melatonin should not be combined with synthetic or natural substances that have sedative or sleep-inducing effects.
